Feeling Odd

So, I've been feeling weird lately, a bit disconnected and nostalgic I guess. Missing fandom of old, or at least my involvement in it. Hell, I don't even know what the hot fandoms are anymore. Is anyone very active here? I've seen only 1 person posting so far. Oh well, I'll kick around the next few days and see if anyone or anything pops up.

As for me, fannish wise I'm still reading Team Wolf for the most part.

I've started canning again, which is something I haven't done since I got divorced ages ago. So far I've done chicken breasts, thighs and some 15 bean soup. Pretty tasty so far.

I was reading the 'Latest Things' page and saw your post, so I thought I'd pop in and say hi! I'm a fandom old too. Fandom has changed a lot, that's for sure. I think most of the communities here now are multi-fandom since it's not as active as Live Journal used to be in the day. It's a nice mellow place to hang out, but it does take some looking around to find things.

I haven't been in a 'hot' fandom in many years, I mostly just chill with my old favs. But MCU is still big, and Our Flag Means Death and Stranger Things are a few of the new ones fans are into that I know of. Oh, K-Pop is really popular.

addme_fandom is a good place to find fans with similar interests. And the search box of course. Once you start subscribing to some current people and communities, there will be more activity on your Reading Page, so it won't feel like there's no one posting. Hopefully, you'll find your little corner of DW!
