Freaking Out Here People

What is up with the thousands of dead birds, fish and crabs? Have we reached an environmental tipping point? Even my mother, who scoffs at most things, called me up thinking something is going on. She just doesn't believe the reports of "trauma".

Seriously, this is freaking me out some. Time to review my emergency preparedness supplies again.
